🪵🌸🍎🍇🍷Rooted in the Pomegranate❤️

Standing by the balcony ledge, I look out at the tree that used to glow against the midnight sky, born from the growth of the pomegranate. Reaching out to touch its branch, fond memories begin to emerge in my mind: precious moments that have never faded away.

The soft moonlight glows against the rough bark of the tree, feeling cool and familiar under my fingers, bringing back soft touches of a time long gone. Looking out between the dark night sky and the branches, ghostly spirits drift like shadows through the air, quiet and still. Thin clouds drift past the moon, casting slow, moving shadows across the balcony floor. In the distance, a faint wind chime softly rings, cutting through the quiet night air while a faint scent of sweet tea lingers from inside the house. If I stay silent, I can almost hear the leaves rustling the way they did years ago, back when nights felt calmer and time moved a little slower. Even when life gets overwhelming and my heart feels heavy with aching and anxiety, this place brings a sense of comfort. It’s funny how a single tree can hold onto so many years of quiet moments, just standing here keeping track of everything that used to be.

I still remember when it was just a small sapling, barely reaching the bottom rail. We used to sit out here in the late afternoons, watching the shadows stretch across the floor while tea was poured and people talked long into the evening. I turn toward the open doorway for a brief moment, half-expecting to see a familiar silhouette leaning against the frame, watching the night with me. A lot has changed since then, but holding onto this branch with so much love, it feels like no time has passed at all.

The night gets quiet, and a deep sense of calm comes over me, lifting my spirits in a way I didn’t even realize I’d been missing. Life moves on and things change, but standing here tonight, I realize the best memories don’t really leave us. They stay right where they’ve always been.
